Spring brings many welcome things - like warmer weather and beautiful flowers, but it can also present challenges like allergies!  No matter the season, at RÖRE, it’s always the perfect time to assess and revitalize both body and mind. 1. Prioritize Hydration

As the weather warms up, many of us happily begin moving our exercise to the outdoors, enjoying the crisp Spring air. But it’s important to remember that proper hydration is the cornerstone of good health, especially as we increase outdoor activities with the warmer weather. At RÖRE, we recommend drinking at least half your body weight in ounces of water daily. For those extra sweaty workouts or extended outdoor sessions, add an additional 20 ounces of water with electrolytes to help compensate for fluid loss. This simple step can dramatically improve your energy levels, recovery, and overall performance.


2. A Cleaner Approach to Spring Cleaning

Spring cleaning at RÖRE isn’t just about tidying up physical spaces—it’s about cleansing our bodies too. Here are a few ways we’re doing this:

  • Foods: As we dive into Spring- a whole host of delicious vegetables come into season! Incorporating foods naturally full of crucial vitamins our bodies crave is a great way to kick start the spring season. We recommend adding some arugula and artichokes to your next salad or roasting asparagus and carrots for a yummy addition to your next meal!

  • Mindful Consumption: Evaluating and minimizing processed foods, focusing on fresh, whole ingredients to nourish our bodies.Take a pause while eating to tune into how the food tastes and smells. Maybe it will even bring back a great memory.

Allergies can be a significant barrier to enjoying the beautiful spring weather. At RÖRE, we love exploring natural remedies, in addition to the more known traditional measures:

  • Local Raw Honey: Consuming local honey is believed to help build immunity against local allergens due to the presence of local pollen.

  • Herbal Remedies: Herbs like nettle, which can be taken in tea or supplement form, have natural antihistamine properties.

  • Air Purifier with HEPA and carbon filter

  • Vacuum with HEPA filter

  • Dust with a damp cloth

  • Avoid using herbicides and pesticides 

  • Avoid wearing shoes in the house and wipe pets paws

  • Change linens 1x/wk

  • Avoid burning scented candles or air fresheners

  • Utilize sauna therapy frequently
